Achieve Your Goals

Empower Yourself

Welcome

Hello, I'm Joanne. Thank you for visiting my website. Making the decision to start therapy can be a difficult one and finding the right therapist for you is important for successful personal change and growth.

I am a qualified integrative therapeutic counsellor and CBT practitioner. I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, as well as the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I am also a certified clinical trauma professional (CCTP). I have experience of short and long-term counselling across a wide range of issues, ages and backgrounds.   I worked for five years in an IAPT Centre providing NHS funded therapy to adults, and I now run a successful private practice.

I offer integrative therapeutic counselling which draws on a range of therapeutic approaches to treat a variety of mental health issues. I am a qualified Person Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE-CfD) practitioner, which is the evidence based IAPT approach for treating depression. I am also trained in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) which can help you to become your own therapist, by providing tools that help you to recognise and change your own automatic thoughts and behaviours.

I offer face-to-face sessions in the Practice Rooms, Broomhill, Sheffield and sessions online via Zoom or by telephone.
